Come join us on Saturday, October 20, from 9 am - 12 noon. We will be making Fidget Quilts for Alzheimer patients and people with autism along with visiting homebound church members. Lunch will be provided. Register here. Lisa Simpkins will be providing sewing machines, if you don’t have one of your own, and she will even teach you how to sew. Please bring items that can be sewn on the quilts—plastic or wooden beads, ribbon, rattles, plastic cars, Velcro, pockets and zippers from jeans, pants or shirts, or anything else that is washable and would provide sensory and tactile stimulation. Lisa will be on campus until 8 pm for those that can’t make the earlier time.
